Dr Ken Wadland offers a variety of motivational and educational presentations that can be customized for your group.

The following are some examples of presentations that Dr. Wadland has made recently:

Inventions and Innovation

This presentation focuses on the process of creating new inventions and delivering new innovations and the difference between them.

Dr. Ken  Wadland has started more than a dozen companies and holds 20 U.S. Patents.  He has been a keynote speaker in North America, Europe, and Asia.   In this presentation, he reviews several widely known and some much less known inventions and describes the difficult, and often a circuitous path, to converting the original invention into a useful innovation.

Depending on the needs of your audience, this presentation can be configured for anywhere from 20 to 60 minutes.

Unwanted Transitions

This inspirational presentation focuses on coping with major changes in life that we didn't want but cannot change.

We are sometimes forced to confront bad situations, such as the death of a loved one or loss of employment.  We often have great difficulty dealing with the resulting trauma.

Dr. Wadland is no stranger to unwanted transitions.   He, himself, is a widow, a stroke survivor and a victim of a corporate layoff.   Members of his own immediate family have died from cancer, heart attack, diabetes complications, and drunk drivers.

In this presentation, Dr. Wadland presents his own personal experiences and coping mechanisms.  He helps audience members deal with their own unwanted transitions in ways that celebrate life
